Events
Lifeline has a variety of events you can get involved with throughout the year. Your support will raise important funds to help provide critical support and suicide prevention services for Australians in need. Check out our events below!
Join us on Saturday, 1st March 2025 for Australia’s largest stand-up paddle board event. This year we will be undertaking a 10km loop, starting and ending at Green Point, Brighton Beach in Melbourne.
The event is open to anyone aged 18+. We encourage people of all fitness levels to join this fully supported event. Our team will be alongside you every stroke of the way!
Challenge yourself to complete 3,139 push-ups over 24 days in June (or choose your own goal)!
Donations through The Push-Up Challenge ensure Lifeline’s critical support services are accessible to anyone who needs them – anytime, anywhere and in the way those who need support feel most comfortable.
And it's a great way to get fit, have fun and learn about mental health! It’s the perfect challenge to get your workplace involved in too!
Each year, we come together on World Suicide Prevention Day (10 September) to walk 9kms to remember the 9 lives lost to suicide each day in Australia. You can walk to remember a loved one, as a personal tribute for a friend or family member, or to show your support for Australians experiencing emotional distress or mental illness.
In 2024, our amazing community raised more than $2.4million for crisis support and suicide prevention services to help save lives.
Express your interest today to join Out of The Shadows in 2025. Together, we can ensure that no one must face their darkest moments alone.
